September

Best Friend Amanda and Laura competed in the Danskin Triathlon, in Seattle, WA!

What a fun time, with over 5,130 ladies competing total!!

It downpoured the whole time, but our fan club stayed to cheer us on, Thanks mom, dad, and Jason( Amanda's Hubby)

I'm in Montana!! Fall training has started off very well, with weather nice and cool for the morning and night training runs! But with nice warm days to get things ready for the winter! here are some old training photos and will try to have some new ones next week!

July

Laura, Bella,Family, Friends and Sponsors all pitched in to make this year's July 4th a memorable one for Poulsbo and Bainbridge! Wanting to educate the public about Dog Sledding and get the word out to help Laura to Alaska, everyone pitched in with the Night Runner Kennel booth. On the 3rd in Poulsbo, WA waterfront we had a booth. Then a booth on Bainbridge Is WA, on the 4th, also participating in the parade! Fun was had by all!

August

A sponsor from the

The Hansville Transfer Station

made this for her truck to help me get more sponsorship! It takes a village to send out a dog team!

October

One of my new sponsors, Sahale Snacks! They make some of the most delicious healthy nut mixes I have ever tasted! They have sponsored enough product for training and the Iditarod! Thanks Sahale Snacks! This photo was taken on the morning I left WA for fall Training in MT.

Ever wonder what three tons of dog food looks like? We feed dry kibble, liver, and meat. This is high performance kibble, we go through a little over a bag a day, and yes, it is beautifully hand stacked by yours truly!

This is the view from one of the stops we take for a water brake! Just to the right of the photo it was seconds before sunrise!
